Store in the freezer in a zip lock bag (included with your purchase) for as needed gentle cool pack.

For warm therapy, remove from the storage bag and pop in the microwave for approximately 30-45 seconds. Heat Bags (Or 2 minutes with a maxiumum time of 3 minutes to 4 minutes depending on your microwave).

All microwaves heat differently. It is important that you time test your item to determine the time for the right amount of heat. Eye Pillows should be tested in 15 second intervals and should provide sufficient heat in 45 seconds.

Larger heat bags should be tested in 60 second intervals with maximum heating times of not more than 3 minutes.

DO NOT OVERHEAT. Overheating may cause the flaxseed to burn resulting in a pungent odor. More important is that overheating may cause injury to the skin or eyes.
